  yesterday i spent ages looking for a pair of glasses that i seldom wear.

  i looked at work, then at home, then in the car.. i checked a bag in the car 3 times !

  i couldn't find them.. this morning i awoke determined to find them.

  I expected my guardian angel to wear a long grey coat, not a pink jumper.

  Oooh you've met yours too?! Still could have been though - perhaps less intimidating appearing as a female on this occasion.

  You actually just reminded me to watch out for strange things happening whilst I'm operating the lights at the panto next week - the room where our follow spots are is actually haunted - things move or disappear and reappear (either in the same place or elsewhere in the room). There is only ONE set of keys for that room and it is ALWAYS locked when nobody is in due to the high value of the equipment.

  We've also felt definite taps on the shoulder whilst working in there.

  Also we get sudden icycold draughts - this room gets incredibly warm during performances and there is only one inlet for draughts, through our 'hatch' at the front - but the draughts come from the back of the room and are much colder than could be reasonably expected.

  dear friends,.

  much of what we do on a daily basis is routine and of no particular, earth-shaking importance.

  however, after reviewing letters of family going back to wwii, it is fascinating to read what dad was doing on board the aircraft carrier in the pacific on any old day, what mom was cooking on her ever-steaming range, how i was dealing with the roller coaster of emotion at bethel [mom saved all my letters], how nana wrote that she would not study with the witnesses [per my request] but 'here are some mittens i knitted for you when you canvass new york with your magazines.

  *summer*, I hope all goes well for you and wish you a full and speedy recovery, certainly will keep you in my thoughts and prayers

  I'm just listening to a radio talk show - the presenter is an atheist and he's doing a telephone interview with someone from Westboro 'Baptist church' the woman sounds totally cold - it's creepy, *shivers*

  We finished panto rehearsals tonight, come Saturday, it's the real thing, it's gonna be very tiring but good

  Why don't I see any pastors or clergy on this forum?

  it just occurred to me that i have never seen a member on jwd who was a minister/priest/rabbi/monk,friar,shamman, etc.

  maybe i have just missed their posts and then again, maybe they don't come here for some reason.

  i know they must come in contact with jw's and ex-jw's all the time.

  Wow you found something on it, good hunting there 5go

  I heard about it on a radio talk show on Sunday. The presenter was saying how most or all of the main sites including NASA have pulled all information down, and nothing much is being mentioned in the media - efectively a news blackout. It may seem that this asteroid is definitely causing them some concern - so much that it is safer to keep the masses in the dark about what could potentially happen.
